Conner Creek Academy East, a Public School Academy (more commonly known as a charter school), was founded in 1999. It was one of the first Charter Schools located in Macomb County. Originally the school was to be just a K-8 facility, but as the school began to grow, so did the interest in parents for a high school. So with the 2002 school year came the beginning of the high school grades. We had our first graduating class in 2006. Eventually, the middle school and high school, which were located in two separate small facilities, were relocated to a new 61,000 square foot building located in Warren. The new facility is called Michigan Collegiate to emphasize its mission of preparing students for college. Although it has a different name, Michigan Collegiate is still a part of the Conner Creek Academy East charter.
If you are looking for a school that strives for excellence in academics, teaches students to be responsible citizens, and helps them to develop their full potential then you have come to the right place. I would encourage you to come and visit either campus to see our family friendly atmosphere and meet with administration to discuss your child’s future at CCAE/MC. As we like to say: “Your child’s future begins today when you enroll at Conner Creek Academy East.” I look forward to meeting with you soon.
